Black out around 10 Downing st. on Google Maps, how politicians feel the love we have for them.
I am not a Goggle nerd, neither a fan, also not a left extreme liberal but these things are bizarre. Recently I have been walking around Chairman's Mao's Mausoleum on the Tiananmen. I saw the high solid metal fence surrounding the building, guards and CCTV on every corner. Than I said to me, if he did so much for the people and they love him, so why they need to fence him off so heavily? Similar thought came up last year on Wall street, the building so safeguarded and tank proof, why they need to safeguard so heavily the incarnation of the Free Market? And now this, 10 Downing street, head office of the British prime minister, is blanked out on Goggle maps? Is this the free speech - democratic west liberal - buy and get everything place where everyone wants to be, represented as a black hole? Should I go undercover? Do I am unsafe? Is there immanent danger around? Will they in future also cover up with big curtains these buildings?
THE £2m home of the UK head of Google, the internet search engine, is not visible in the company’s new Street View service. The Google boss Dennis Woodside’s West London town house is not one of them. His residence is situated in a private gated development in Kensington, where the 40-year-old American lives with his wife and two children.
