Space Studios announces series of wireless, locative media events and cheap lunch

Pervasive Connections is a one-day event and exhibition about wireless networks, mobile technologies and locative media. The event will focus on opportunities for artists and local communities to work with new social technologies.

A series of talks and workshops by artists, activists and media practitioners will be followed by a panel discussion featuring a number of leading lights from London's free network community. The event costs £5, and includes a buffet lunch. Booking is recommended.

* Elsewhere, Take2030 offers a simultaneous open air event. The event promises to take its "rich air wireless lunchboxes" out to lunch in Hackney.

* Let's do Lunch tracks Hackney's public access wireless connection
points and its lunch menus along the route of the number 26 bus. Lunch dates will be established with community members to exchange practicals and visions for a wireless Hackney. The exhibition will include a map of Hackney's wireless outposts the bus route. Documentation of seven "lunch dates" and auto transmitting wireless lunch boxes will be included in the exhibition.
