World No Tobacco Day 2006 - Ille Svet-k-lovsky the hero from 5upernet, STOPPED SMOKING

Ein Held, a hero like in Balkan fairytales, DJ Ille part of 5upernet , aka Metrosau has quitted smoking, wow. (sometimes the servers are down :=))
I am proud to be his friend. World No Tobacco Day 2006 visit them at quartier 21, in Vienna, current ON from Brasil, the VIZINHOS exhibition was built from the invitation of the artists group 5uper.net* to Eduardo Verderame and Transição Listrada to work in a collaborative project.

The start point of VIZINHOS was the BASE** experience, in Fortaleza, where contacts between artists were made, adding to the development of an art network in Brazil. Then, the participants of the exhibition are part of the crossing of personal and collective networks built through a few years.

* 5uper.net creates and deals with networks, of digital, social, local and global nature: a metadisciplinary international forum for communication, to connect anybody involved and not (yet) involved in the areas of media, architecture, art and technology. Transparency of new media is the primary aim, which is achieved with workshops, events, symposia and publications.

** BASE is a space for ideas. From 2002 to 2004, worked in a house and organized exhibitions, lectures, talks, screenings and hosted artists from other cities. Now, the house doesn’t exist anymore and became BASEmóvel.
