Takashi's Season

Takashi's Season is a work by Yoshimasa Niwa presented recently at ACM 2006, Santa Barbara and Ars Electronica, Linz, a live shadow puppets/video performance. The shadows of the puppets manipulated by the puppeteer are synchronized with animation and sound in real time.
The behind the scenes images where the hands of the puppeteer pops onto the screen is interesting...a play with the virtual and the real.
