Within the WTO, World Trade Organisation context, Brazil is going after markets of biofuel under pretext of to tackle climate change, the US and EU are going globally on opening markets to make way for selling there technology also under pretext to tackle climate change. Co-operation instead of competition otherwise we end up in a stalemate as the WTO is.
Game of trade
So the game of old trading times is repeating, than when EU states captured there colonies around the world building there national "trading" empires. Killed and made slaves, robed and exploited to build a local glory. Now everyone surrounding the "west" is just suspicious that the west will do the same just under the cover of climate change.
But the good think now is that if the planet is screwed we all are screwed sooner then later, that is an option where maybe some executives will buy in into co-operation. This is a contrary ideology to turbo capitalism and also to the new players, like China and India, Brazil, which say to them selves, now is our time to harvest, regardless of the cost it will take. OPEC countrys are in no way better, just pumping the oil out of the earth with the same attitude.
Sacrifice the queens and kings
Its time that the EU is making a symbolic sacrifice, the castles and palaces, the gold and the jewels mainly still in possession of the aristocracy, in England, Holland, Belgium, Spain the big players in colonialism. The aristocrats should be forced by law to auction off all their land and possessions, the financial profit out of the SALE should go to the ex colonies to compensate their losses. I am shore that someone kept the books about the robbed quantities shipped out, in times of super computing this is easy to calculate. May I suggest an order whit whom to start, 1st.the Belgien royal court, 2nd. the Dutch, 3th. the Spanish and than ax the 4th. the British royal court.
