The fashion performance copy alltag gegen copy which took place directly in the exhibition China – Facing Reality was presenting 15 outfits made by the participating labels. The theme of the 'copy' will be further developed in the collection following the idea of the message sent in the 'broken telephone' game. First, an exact copy of a painted image of a dress based on a work by the artist Chen Ke is made.

This outfit will then be passed on from one designer to the next as it is added to and modified. The participating designers will then show their collections in the autumn of 2008 at boutique gegenalltag’s showroom in Beijing - China.
