Guidelines for text
Text contributions can be between 300 & 2000 words long. All texts should be accompanied by at least one image and URLs wherever relevant. Text should be written in clear English to communicate to a wide audience, so wherever it is necessary to use jargon please include a definition.

If you quote from someone elses text, please give the reference (and a link where appropriate) - where information comes from is as important as the information itself.

Articles and blog entries should reflect something of the opinions and experiences of the contributor if they are to be promoted to the home page.

Guidelines for images

Creating your image
Suggested image sizes:
banner 500 x 120 pixels
small image 185 x 185 pixels
large image 500 x 350 pixels
resolution 72 pixels/inch

Attaching your image and including it in your page
To include an image with your text create a link using HTML. For example
img src="files/myimage.jpg" (write this all between the HTML tags < >). Then 'attach' the image when you 'submit' your entry.

Flowing text around a small image

If you are using a small image you may want your text to flow around it, so that it does not have a lot of white space around it. You can do this by inserting it into a table (using HTML tags). If you are not sure how to do this please look at the source code for this page. Lines 131-134.

Submitting your content to MAzine

Under 'Input format', select 'Full HTML'

Untick the 'list' box under 'Attachments'

Do not tick 'sticky at the top of lists' unless you have written the greatest story ever told!

Click 'Submit'.
