This OEM UHF gen 2 RFID tag is suitable for environments with extreme conditions, including those with high temperatures, low temperatures and around metal. Its unique construction enables the passive Gen 2 RFID tags to perform well in harsh environments, such as dipping in water and acid.

Compatible with the UHF Class 1 Generation 2 protocol, the UHF metal tag can provide an outstanding read distance up to 3 m basing on different readers. Besides, it is equipped with a 3M glue strip on the back. Therefore, it allows for easily affix to any object surface, such as metal surface or rough surface.

Some small, fully encapsulated tags of the UHF gen 2 tags have been successfully used in asset tracking applications such as railway and warehousing solutions.
