'Content in media does not matter at all' Marshall Mcluhan (part 1)

Marshall Mcluhan says 'Content and the message doesn't matter at all'

if war, conflict and natural disaster are used to keep the masses quite through a state of helplessness as was suggested

then how can content not be important
as its is the message that determines our feeling of helplessness

what would happen if the media and news put on a positive message
would we then still feel helpless
would the content still not matter as marshall mcluhan states

we listen but do not hear
do we actually think about what we hear

Content only does not matter when we fail not to hear and act. Maybe this is what Marshall Mcluhan meant by the term regarding content not mattering.

It is in our hands. Negri and Hardt belived that the masses have a voice and can be effective.

CONTENT CAN ONLY 'NOT' MATTER WHEN WE
AS INDIVIDUALS
CHOOSE NOT TO MAKE IT MATTER

the choice is ours and no one elses.

part 2 coming soon - messages, marshall mcluhan and celtic monks
